Installed a new spoiler on my car so I took the opportunity to do another quick photo-shoot.

Garmin

Well I got hired at Garmin International as an Engineering Production Artist. I'm working on developing the graphics for their navigation products. I can't show any work till its published because of legal issues but I will keep you guys posted.

Here we have a new portrait piece for a client.  This experience was rather disappointing because after I put several hours into it, the client e-mailed me saying he changed his mind and didn't need the portrait anymore.  Since I put time into it already I decided to semi-finish it anyway.

Riverfront Harley Davidson wanted a new t-shirt concept incorporating the KU Jay Hawks. This is the steps it went through.

I've been trying to design a shirt for a local biker bar called Slow Ride. The owner wanted to see what I can do so I came up with this pin-stripe design. The sketch was done in pencil and was colorized using Adobe Illustrator.

Nutmeg Miata Club

I had an opportunity to design the poster for Nutmeg Miata Club's event, commemorating Mazda Miata's 20th anniversary.

This lady won the original print in the raffle.

Portrait

I had a rather unusual commission this week. This man apparently is a goat farmer and wanted a portrait of him and his wife. He was a pleasure to work with. Turned out to be a fun project.

Decided to practice my photography today. These are my favorite shots.

LT Decals

I designed the logo for Lawrence Tuners, and had decals made of them. These are sample pics of what they look like.

This is a piece I did of rat rods racing.

It all starts with a sketch.

I scan the sketch and put color over it using photoshop.

Delete the sketch and place objects in back ground.

Add detail and use little bit of effects to give movement.

Dyno Day

Put my car on the dyno for the first time.  It put out 118hp to the wheel.  Not too bad for a car with minor bolt ons.  A stock miata is rated 116hp to the crank.

My Bike

I love vintage bikes. This is my 78 Yamaha XS 500 that I was slowly making into a cafe racer.  I've sold it and am looking for another project.

I've always been into cars and bikes. This is my current daily driver. Its a 1991 BRG Mazda Miata.

Karuizawa Shirt

This is a t-shirt project I did for Clubroadster.net. They wanted a shirt designed for the Karuizawa Roadster meet in Japan. This is the process it went through.
