I recently invested in a speedlight and a 42 inch reflector.  I've been doing a lot of experimenting trying to learn how to use them effectively.  Here are some samples that I liked.

Miatapalooza 2013

I had an opportunity to create event shirts and stickers for Miatapalooza 2013.  Apparently more than 330 Mazdas showed up to the event.  Looks like a lot of fun!

Tech Team Shirt

I was chosen to design a shirt for the Technology Team at my work.  The concept they wanted to go with was Atlas holding up the celestial sphere.  They wanted to represent how the Tech Team is the core, holding up the products we produce.  I put my own Ironman inspired twist to the idea, and this is what I came up with. 

This is the original vector.  The team members insisted I add the tag line they chose as well.

MKC Performance

I had an opportunity to work with a local performance shop.  We worked on rebranding and coming up with a new logo.

Looks like they took the design and made a cool animation out of it in 3D.  Here is a screen capture.

Platypus decal

Here is a fun decal I was asked to design for a member of the Roadster club.  After he got the decals cut, I had to share the picture he took of it.

I was looking through SpeedHunters and spotted the Project-G shirt I worked on.  Man, those guys build awesome Roadsters.

Brenizer Method

I've recently discovered a photo technique referred as the Brenizer Method.  Essentially, you stitch multiple images together taken with a long lens with a wide aperture.  The result is a photo that looks as if taken with a wide angle lens with an incredible amount of bokeh that isn't normally possible.

While the concept is simple, it takes a bit getting used to.  Here is one of the first successful attempts.
